Description

The software which is inluded with all GTS GTM and POWERbox series enables extender control and management by your computer (via USB or RS232). You can remotely monitor and manage multiple UPSes from one place – during connection multiple UPSes to one computer or sharing the management over a local network.

MONITORING MODE

The software works in a background and monitors the operation of the UPS. If necessary it will alert you about important events with pop-up window and straight message.

BASIC MODE

Main operating parameters of your device are presented on a graphic block:
– operation mode
– active modules, power parameters
– charge level and battery voltage
– current load and temperature.

In addition the software displays information about recent events such as power outages or warning about potential failures. Event logs will help you to control the most important changes in the operating status of the UPS and warn you about potential problems.  You can easily monitor specific power parameters over time. The UPS records most important parameters every minute: input and output voltage, battery voltage, device temperaturę, instantaneous load, power frequency.

ADMIN MODE

SMS & E-MAIL NOTICIFACTION
The software provides detailed reporting of many parameters and warnings via SMS and e-mail. Each e-mail or SMS you can selecr and create a group of messages from about 150 different types of reported events, e.g. main power failure, UPS overload, discharged or low battery and other failures.  

REMOTE SHUTDOWN of COMPUTER, SERVER & ALERTS
Each computer or server separately you can set a shutdown or sleep program. Easily you can protect data and extend the operation of important elements of the secured system this way.

The computer connected to UPS (called Agent) is able to share UPS operating parameters with all devices in a local ethernet. Each secured device should have software installed.

There is a possibility of sending warnings about potential device outage to other network segments.

MANAGING MULTIPLE UPS
The software installed on single workstation enables the control of entire UPS units. It works thanks to the connection of many managing computers (Agents) to the local network, connecting groups of UPSes to individual stations or (if necessary) adding the  SMTP protocol.

REDUNDANT SYSTEM
The software makes easy the management of paralel UPS sets which duplicate the power protection. Each server or workstation you can set separate shutdown scenario – e.g. depends on particular UPS which holds the voltage the longest.

ON/ OFF & BATTERY TEST CALLENDAR
Built-in timers will help you to set up operationg patterns for UPS devices. Periods of turning on and off of UPSes are programmable based on callendar dates or weekly basis. The type and frequency of cyclib battery test you can set by monthly basis or select directhy throu callendar as well.
